Putin meets with Erdogan in Kazakhstan to discuss trade between Russia and Turkey

On the eve of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, the presidents of Russia and Turkey held a bilateral meeting in Astana. The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation between the countries.
In Astana, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Turkish leader Recep Erdogan. This was reported by UNN with reference to Russian media.
Details
During the talks, the two leaders outlined the goal of the partnership - a trade turnover of $100 billion. Erdogan also invited Putin to visit Turkey in the near future.

The talks are expected to last at least an hour. Russian media suggest that the leaders will discuss the situation in Syria and Ukraine, among other things.
