Power outages are being recorded in eight regions of Ukraine. Power engineers are working in an intensified mode and conducting restoration work to return electricity to consumers as quickly as possible. The causes of the blackouts are shelling of energy infrastructure and difficult weather conditions. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, according to UNN.

As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions remain temporarily without power supply

- the report states.

Power engineers are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all subscribers as quickly as possible. Restoration work is ongoing around the clock.

Due to bad weather, more than 160 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions remain without electricity. Repair crews are working on restoration.

No consumption restrictions are forecasted during the day. Information regarding possible changes in power supply should be verified on the official resources of the distribution system operators.

Consumers are urged to use electricity sparingly throughout the day whenever possible to reduce the load on the power system.
