Border crossing stopped due to power outage caused by Russian attack on energy infrastructure, recovery expected soon - customs officials

The State Customs Service announced a temporary halt to traveler processing at the border due to a technical power outage. Citizen and vehicle processing is not being carried out, and specialists are working to restore the operation of border crossing points.

The reason for the suspension of traveler passage at the border was a technical failure with power supply due to a large-scale Russian attack; the resumption of border crossing points in normal mode is expected in the near future, the State Customs Service reported on Saturday, writes UNN.
Due to the enemy attack, border crossing operations have been temporarily suspended.
It is noted that the processing of citizens and vehicles for entry into Ukraine and exit from Ukraine is currently not being carried out.
The reason for the suspension of border crossing points at the state border was a technical failure with power supply after a large-scale enemy shelling of energy facilities. Specialists are already working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. In the near future, border crossing points will operate in normal mode.
