During the massive Russian attack on April 11, 57 of 82 air targets launched, including 18 missiles and 39 attack drones, were shot down.
During a massive Russian attack on the night of April 11, 57 air targets - 18 missiles and 39 Shahed attack drones - out of 82 launched by Russian troops were destroyed in the skies over Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, said on Thursday, UNN reports.

"On the night of April 11, 2024, the Russian occupiers launched a combined attack with missiles of various types and attack UAVs. The main direction is Lviv region," Oleshchuk wrote on Telegram.
As a result of the air combat, 57 air targets were destroyed: 16 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles; 39 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs; 2 X-59 guided missiles
According to him, the enemy used a total of 82 air attack vehicles:
- 20 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95 MS strategic aviation aircraft (launch area - Saratov region - Russia);
- 6 X-47M2 "Dagger" aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K fighters (launch area - Tambov region - Russia);
- 12 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles (launched from the Belgorod region - Russia);
- 40 "Shahed-131/136" attack UAVs (from Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russia, Chauda - Crimea);
- 4 X-59 guided missiles (from the airspace of the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region).
According to the commander, fighter aircraft and anti-aircraft missile troops of the Air Force, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the enemy air attack.
