Outage schedules return today, power outages in 8 regions - Ministry of Energy

Consumption restrictions for industry and the population have been introduced in Ukraine. Due to shelling and bad weather, residents of eight regions of the country were left without electricity.

Today, power outage schedules are returning to Ukraine; due to enemy attacks, part of 4 regions are without electricity, and due to bad weather, residents in 4 regions are affected, the Ministry of Energy reported on Wednesday, writes UNN.
Schedules
Today, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers are applied in all regions of Ukraine from 07:00 to 22:00. From 11:00 to 13:00 - hourly outage schedules for all categories of consumers
Consumers were urged, if possible, to use electricity sparingly throughout the day. This helps reduce the load on the system.
Enemy attacks
"As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity," the report says.
Energy workers, as indicated, are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity to all subscribers as soon as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock.
Bad weather
Due to bad weather, more than 90 settlements in Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil regions remain without electricity, as reported. Repair crews of regional power companies are working on restoration.

Ukraine successfully survived the winter despite Russia's attempts to destroy the energy system, stated Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.
