Occupiers carried out 40 attacks, actively operating in the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk directions - General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 40 times. The enemy is actively operating in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions, futile assault actions are recorded in the direction of the Antonivka bridge, reports UNN.

Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in Sumy region, the settlements of Iskriskivshchyna, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Rohizne, Koreniok, Hirky, Sopych, Nova Huta, Volfyne, Studenok were affected; in Chernihiv region – Khrenivka. Yastrubshchyna was subjected to an air strike 

In the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy launched two air strikes, dropped five aerial bombs, carried out 47 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, four of which were with the use of multiple rocket launcher systems.

In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units once in the area of Vovchanski Khutory.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to improve its position once in the direction of Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked twice in the area of Hrekivka and towards Lyman.

In the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk directions, the enemy has not conducted active operations since the beginning of the day.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 11 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, Sofiivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 10 times to push our soldiers from their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Chervony Lyman, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Muravka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, our defenders repelled six enemy attacks towards Kalynivske and Oleksandrograf. Kolomiytsi were subjected to an air strike. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks towards the settlements of Huliaipilske, Zelene, Zaliznychne and in the area of Huliaipole. One battle is ongoing. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Kopani, Rivne, Barvinivka, Liubytske.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy conducted two futile assault actions in the direction of the Antonivka bridge.

The situation in other sectors of the front has not undergone significant changes. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded, the General Staff summarized.
