Head of a regional boxing federation organized a scheme for departure through booking - OGP

The head of the federation fictitiously employed draft dodgers at a critical enterprise for $15,000. At least 40 people used the scheme's services.

Law enforcement officers have notified the head of the boxing federation of one of the regions of suspicion of organizing a scheme for traveling abroad through "reservations" and fictitious business trips. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Details
The organizer of the criminal scheme is a native of Luhansk region, the head of the regional boxing federation, known in criminal circles. He involved three compatriots in the commission of crimes - this scheme operated in Odesa, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Ternopil, where the suspects lived.
For money, the group members fictitiously employed conscripts at a controlled enterprise in Kyiv, which had quotas for booking as a critical infrastructure enterprise. It operates in the construction sector and has the ability to issue business trips to employees. Thus, clients received a deferral from mobilization and unhindered travel abroad
As the investigation established, the cost of fictitious employment with booking was up to $8,000, employment with a business trip - $10,000. For illegal travel abroad towards the Republic of Moldova, the attackers wanted $15,000.
In addition, "booked" clients were charged 10,000 hryvnias monthly to pay tax for fictitious employment. According to preliminary data, at least 40 people used their "services"
During searches, more than 5 million UAH, computer equipment, mobile phones, draft records, business trip orders, and other documents were found and seized from the detainees.
Four detainees were notified of suspicion under:
- Part 3 of Art. 332, Part 3 of Art. 15, Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - illegal transfer of persons across the state border;
- Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Two suspects were remanded in custody with the right to post bail of 2.6 million hryvnias. Two more are in custody without bail.
