Kamianske
Kamianske is the administrative center of the Kamianske urban hromada.
Kamianske is a city in Ukraine, the administrative center of the Kamianske urban hromada and Kamianske Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It is located on the Dnieper River, near the Kamianske Reservoir, and as of January 1, 2022, its population was 226,845 people.
The city was first mentioned in 1750 and received city status on December 19, 1923. From 1936 to 2016, the city was known as Dniprodzerzhynsk, and then its historical name was returned. Kamianske plays an important role as an industrial and cultural center in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, constantly developing and renewing itself.
