Robert Fico

Slovak politician, head of the government of Slovakia since October 25, 2023. Before that, he headed the government in 2006-2010 and 2012-2018.
Born on September 15, 1964, in Topoľčany, Slovakia. He earned a law degree from Comenius University in Bratislava and worked in jurisprudence before starting his political career. For many years, he served as head of government, becoming a record holder for the longest tenure in this position. Currently, he continues to lead the government of the Slovak Republic as the leader of the SMER-SD party ("Direction - Social Democracy"). He is known for his pro-Russian views and criticism of the Ukrainian authorities.
