President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged Ukrainians to respond to air raid alerts. He reported new strikes by the Russian Federation, including missile strikes from North Korea, on Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia; there are deaths and injuries.

The President added that Russia had once again used missiles from North Korea – in a strike against Ukraine during the night before this day.
Ballistic missiles were launched against Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia from several Russian regions. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. My condolences to all the loved ones. Dozens of people were injured in the strikes. The situation in Zaporizhzhia was particularly severe. Also, throughout today, drone strikes of various types have continued against frontline cities and villages from the Sumy region to the Kherson region
According to him, the nighttime missile strikes came from the territories of Russia’s Kursk, Rostov, Oryol, and Voronezh regions.
And when we respond to such Russian strikes – when we strike their facilities – this must be interpreted exclusively as entirely just reactions to Russia’s war and its ongoing terror against Ukraine and our people. Today, our corresponding strikes were carried out – medium-range and long-range strikes against Russia and facilities in the oil industry, logistics, and military infrastructure. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine reported on this. We will continue responding
