According to Trump, such a step should be part of a broader agreement amid U.S. negotiations with Iran. The American president stated that consultations with Tehran are "moving along well" and emphasized the need to form a new security architecture in the Middle East.
"It has to start with Saudi Arabia and Qatar signing immediately, and everyone else should follow suit. If they don't, they shouldn't be part of this deal, because it shows bad intentions,"
In addition to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Trump also mentioned Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan.
