"There can be no normalization of such a Russia": Zelenskyy sent a message to partners after Russia's attack with almost 700 drones and ballistic missiles

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to another massive Russian attack on Ukraine, most of the enemy ballistic missiles during which were directed against Kyiv, emphasizing pressure on Russia and the need for partners to fulfill their promises, including in the "Ramstein" format, writes UNN.

Another night that proves that Russia does not deserve any softening of global policy and lifting of sanctions. Russia is betting on war, and that is what the response should be – we need to protect lives with all our might and we need to push for peace with all our might. I am grateful to those in the world who work with us in this way and who help Ukraine in a timely, complete, and understanding manner that every manifestation of support truly matters for saving people. Thank you to Germany, Norway, and Italy, with whom we have already reached new agreements on supporting our air defense. We are working with the Netherlands on additional supplies

- Zelenskyy wrote on social media.

The President stated that in the morning there was a report from the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "There were almost 700 Russian drones during the day and evening before and during the night. There were also missiles: 19 ballistic and cruise missiles this night. Most of the ballistic missiles were against Kyiv. We managed to shoot down 636 drones and some of the missiles. Unfortunately, not all of them. There were hits and damage to ordinary houses. Unfortunately, there are dead in Odesa, Kyiv, and Dnipro. Among the dead is a boy, 12 years old. My condolences to his family and friends... As of now, 100 people are known to have been injured in this one massive Russian attack," the Head of State said.

There can be no normalization of such Russia. Pressure on Russia must work. And it is important to fulfill every promise of assistance to Ukraine in a timely manner. There are many political commitments from partners that have already been announced but have not yet been implemented. Including in the "Ramstein" format and on a bilateral basis. I instructed the Commander of the Air Force to contact those partners who previously made promises regarding missiles for "Patriots" and other systems. I expect a report on the results
