At a meeting of the Energy Headquarters chaired by Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi, projected electricity and gas balances for various winter scenarios were reviewed. The progress of repairs at generating facilities and the installation of additional protection were also analyzed.

At the meeting of the Energy Staff, Koretskyi heard reports from the First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Energy and the heads of the energy companies: Naftogaz, Ukrenergo, Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo, Centrenergo, DTEK, and the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine.
Projected electricity and gas balances were considered, based on various scenarios for getting through the winter. The progress of repair work at generating facilities and the installation of additional protection were analyzed in detail. I focused everyone on the priorities — protecting critical infrastructure facilities and creating reserve stocks of fuel and equipment for the rapid restoration of damaged facilities
According to him, the meeting determined in which areas it was necessary to immediately accelerate work, taking into account the intensification and nature of Russian strikes.
