In recent months, officials in Poland and Finland have warned that the number of people trying to cross the border through belarus or russia could increase significantly in the near future.
Greece is expanding its fence on the border with Turkey, while Finland is seeking to close a new migrant route through russia to Europe by deploying more border patrols, drones and electronic detectors, and building fences.
