The memorandum provides for the cessation of war, the lifting of sanctions, and 300 billion dollars for Iran. The parties have 60 days to reach a final agreement.

The Al Arabiya English TV channel has published a copy of the draft Memorandum of Understanding between the US and Iran. This is reported by UNN.

It is noted that the document contains 14 points and will be signed on Friday, June 19. According to media reports, the Memorandum provides that:
- Iran and the US, together with their allies in the current war, declare upon the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding an immediate and final cessation of the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, and commit that from now on they will not initiate any hostile actions against each other and will refrain from the threat of use of force against each other;
- Iran and the US commit to respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as to refrain from interfering in each other's internal affairs;
- Iran and the US commit to conduct negotiations and reach a final agreement within a maximum period of 60 days, which may be extended by mutual consent;

- immediately after the signing of the Memorandum, the US shall lift the naval blockade and prevent any interference or obstacles against Iran, as well as restore traffic within a maximum of 30 days to its full capacity; the movement of vessels must be proportional to the pre-war volume of traffic from Iran. The US also commits to withdraw its troops from the surrounding areas within 30 days;
- after the signing of the Memorandum, Iran will immediately take measures to ensure the restoration of the movement of merchant vessels from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman and vice versa within 30 days to the pre-war volume, taking into account the need to remove technical obstacles and neutralize mines by Iran;
- The US commits, together with its regional partners, to create a comprehensive plan agreed upon by both parties for the reconstruction and economic development of Iran, while providing financing of at least 300 billion dollars. The mechanism for implementing this plan, as part of the final agreement, will be formulated within 60 days;
- The US commits to terminate, according to a schedule to be agreed upon within the framework of the final agreement, all types of sanctions currently in effect against Iran, including UN Security Council and IAEA Board of Governors resolutions, as well as all unilateral US sanctions, both primary and secondary;
- Iran will never produce nuclear weapons. Iran and the US agree that the fate of enriched material and the fate of all other mutually agreed issues related to nuclear energy, including Iran's nuclear needs, will be properly addressed in the final agreement;
- Iran and the US agree that until a final agreement is reached, they will maintain the status quo: Iran will maintain the status quo regarding its nuclear program, and the United States will not introduce new sanctions against Iran or strengthen its forces in the region;
- The US commits that immediately after the signing of the Memorandum and until the date of the lifting of sanctions, the United States Department of the Treasury will grant permits for the export of Iranian crude oil, petrochemical products and their derivatives, as well as all related services, including banking services, insurance, transport, etc.;
- The US commits that, taking into account the progress of negotiations on the final agreement, Iran's frozen or restricted funds and assets will be released and fully accessible. These funds, whether held in a main account or transferred, will be used for any final payment to a beneficiary designated by the Central Bank of Iran and will be fully available for use. The United States commits to issue all necessary permits and licenses on this basis;
- Iran and the US agree that an implementation mechanism will be established to oversee the successful execution and future obligations regarding the Final Agreement;
- After the signing of this Memorandum and receiving guarantees regarding the commencement of the implementation of its articles 4, 5, 10, and 11, as well as the subsequent implementation of these steps, Iran and the US will begin negotiations on the Final Agreement exclusively regarding the remaining articles;
- The Final Agreement will be approved by a binding UN Security Council resolution.

On Sunday, June 14, US President Donald Trump stated that the United States of America had reached an agreement with Iran. According to him, the new arrangement between Washington and Tehran is the "complete opposite" of the nuclear deal from the Barack Obama administration era and will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.
