Details
The room behind the famous balcony of Buckingham Palace will open to the public next week. Guests will be allowed to visit the famous balcony room, which the royal family passes through during special events.
The king was instrumental in allowing visitors to enter the east wing of the royal residence for the first time, and nearly 6,000 tickets sold out within hours of going on sale in April.
It is worth noting that the room is known, among other things, for the meeting of Paddington Bear with the late Queen during the jubilee celebrations.
Among other things, visitors can explore the Yellow Drawing Room, which houses 18th-century objects.
Among them: hand-painted Chinese wallpaper, Kylin clock decorated with leaves and flowers, which combines porcelain from Asia and French watchmaking.
AddendumAddendum
Guided tours of Buckingham Palace have been available for over 30 years. The East Wing has been extensively restored and updated over the past five years.
The venue is open from July 11 to September 29. Tickets cost approximately 89 euros.
