Mykhailo Fedorov discussed with the head of Diehl Defence the acceleration of air defense and long-range missile supplies. The parties plan to test new developments in Ukraine.

Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov met with Helmut Rauch, CEO of Diehl Defence, a leading German manufacturer of weapons and air defense systems. They discussed specific solutions to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and the development of joint projects, UNN reports.
They discussed increasing and accelerating the supply of missiles for IRIS-T systems. These solutions have already proven effective in combat conditions and are an important part of a multi-layered sky defense system. Also, the development of missile projects for F-16s and the possibility of testing new solutions in Ukraine.
Separately, according to the minister, they discussed the supply of extended-range ammunition with EU support, as well as the development of solutions in the field of radars and anti-ballistic protection.
I am grateful to Diehl Defence for the solutions provided and their readiness to expand cooperation. This is systemic work that strengthens the protection of the Ukrainian sky and enhances the security of Europe, Fedorov summarized.
