Hundreds of Patriot missiles, deep-strike and mid-strike drones — Ukraine has agreed on a new large-scale cooperation package with Germany worth 4 billion euros. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, as reported by UNN.
I held talks with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. We agreed on a package of defense agreements totaling €4 billion — to strengthen air defense, develop long-range capabilities, and jointly produce drones.

According to the minister, three important agreements with Germany were signed during the visit:
- Strengthening air defense. Germany will finance a contract for several hundred Patriot missiles — this will significantly strengthen the protection of Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure. The supply of 36 IRIS-T launchers is also envisaged, which will strengthen the multi-layered air defense system.
- Development of Deep-strike. We agreed on €300 million in investments in long-range capabilities, which will allow us to increase the production of Ukrainian weapons.
- Drone production. As part of the Build with Ukraine initiative, we are launching joint production of mid-strike drones using AI. In the first phase — 5,000 drones for the Defense Forces.
I am grateful to Boris Pistorius for his leadership and systemic support. This is a win-win cooperation that strengthens Ukraine's defense and the security of all of Europe.
