Over the past day, 116 combat engagements took place at the front. In the Pokrovsk direction, 38 attacks were recorded, the occupiers are also pressing on Zaporizhzhia and Temirivka.
In July 2025, 2,700 enemy attacks were recorded in Sumy region, resulting in the death of 23 civilians and injuries to over 140 people. Almost 200 private houses and over 30 multi-story buildings were damaged.
On August 2, 50 combat engagements took place on the front line. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled Russian attacks in the Northern Slobozhansky, Kupyansk, Lyman, Toretsk, and other directions.
In Sumy region, an enemy drone hit a mobile Ukrposhta branch, injuring the driver and an employee. Branches in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions were also shelled, but all employees are alive.
The number of evacuated passengers from Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions significantly increased in July. This is due to the approaching front line, with the main evacuation directions being western Ukraine.
