On the night of June 22, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. Air defense forces neutralized 28 Shahed-type attack UAVs, but hits were recorded in seven regions, including Chernihiv, Sumy, and Odesa.

In Sumy region, a multi-level defense system against Russian drones is being deployed. Mobile groups are already operating, detecting and shooting down enemy drones, and nets are also being installed along roads.

Since the beginning of the day, 91 battles have taken place at the front. About two-thirds of the combat engagements were recorded in the Pokrovsk, North-Slobozhansky, Kursk, and Lyman directions. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the advance of the Russian occupiers, repelling their attacks.
