Since the beginning of the day, 114 combat engagements have taken place at the front, half of which occurred in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions. Russian troops carried out 163 shellings and five air strikes.

As a result of a Russian attack on the night of July 10, the Kyiv Customs building was damaged, windows were blown out, and vehicles with goods were affected. This is not the first time that customs authorities have been at the epicenter of attacks; previously, units in Sumy, Chernihiv, Ternopil, and Odesa regions suffered destruction.

President Zelenskyy reacted to Russia's massive night attack, which lasted almost 10 hours, using 400 drones and 18 missiles. He emphasized the need for sanctions and air defense, and also reported two dead and 16 wounded in Kyiv.

The Third Assault Brigade conducted a successful operation in Kharkiv Oblast, using only drones and ground robotic systems. Russian soldiers surrendered after a robot approached their dugout.

Since the beginning of the day, 112 combat engagements have been recorded at the front, a third of which occurred in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian troops continue to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and shell border settlements.

On July 10, a significant temperature gap is expected in Ukraine: +15…+19°C with rains in the west, while up to +40°C in the east and south. In Kyiv, on July 11, the temperature will drop to a comfortable +23…+25°C.

The MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation and MHP, together with Mariupol State University, announced the second wave of the "Community Leaders School" program. Participants will gain knowledge, mentorship, and grants up to UAH 1 million on co-financing terms.

In the Sumy region, Russian occupiers are deliberately targeting energy and gas facilities. Almost 20,000 consumers remain without electricity, and over 13,000 without gas.

In the Khotin community of Sumy region, the bodies of two men, aged 60 and 48, were found. They sustained fatal shrapnel wounds as a result of a Russian attack UAV strike.

Over the past week, 150 people, including 25 children, have been evacuated from dangerous territories in Sumy Oblast. Evacuation measures cover 213 settlements in 18 communities that are under constant threat of shelling.

In Bytytsia, Sumy region, the number of fatalities from the Russian shelling on July 6 has increased to two civilian men. Also, one resident sought medical attention due to an acute stress reaction.

President Zelenskyy reported on eight stages of a major exchange, as a result of which hundreds of Ukrainians have returned since June. Among them are defenders of Mariupol, military personnel, and civilians who had been in captivity since 2022.

Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, reported a decrease in attempts by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter the territory of Ukraine, but the threat of subversive activity remains. Recently, a sabotage and reconnaissance group that tried to mine roads was exposed in the Chernihiv region, and most attempts by sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter this year were recorded in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

On July 5, 91 combat engagements took place at the front. The Defense Forces repelled 25 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where 5 more battles are ongoing.

On July 6, sunny weather without precipitation is expected in Ukraine, with daytime temperatures reaching +25…+30°, and up to +33° in Zakarpattia and the south. An extreme level of fire danger remains in most regions.

Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, explained that Russia uses the installation of tricolors in the border area for informational provocations. Ukrainian defenders destroyed the Russian flag installed on the border with Chernihiv region.

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Mykhailo Gudkov died on July 2, 2025, in Kursk Oblast. He became the 16th Russian general eliminated since the start of the full-scale invasion, which likely undermined Russia's command system.

The Russian army uses the tactic of small assault groups in Sumy region, but does not achieve the desired results. The enemy suffers significant losses, with dozens killed and wounded daily.

A 49-year-old postman sustained shrapnel wounds from a Russian FPV drone in the Novhorod-Siverskyi community. His car was damaged, and the man was hospitalized.

Over the past day, 183 combat engagements were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. Ukrainian defenders repelled numerous enemy attacks, inflicting significant losses on them, including 1050 personnel and 56 artillery systems.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that since the beginning of 2025, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have neutralized over 230,000 Russian occupiers, 1,311 tanks, and 2,885 armored vehicles. Syrskyi also prohibited the concentration of personnel and equipment at training grounds to enhance safety.

An infrastructure facility in Konotop, Sumy region, was destroyed as a result of an early morning enemy attack. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

Since the beginning of the current day, 76 combat engagements have taken place on the front, of which more than a quarter occurred in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian occupiers also shelled the border areas of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

The Sumy region experienced an extremely dangerous June with 2593 enemy strikes, which claimed 12 lives, including two children. Almost 150 private houses, 34 multi-story buildings, educational and medical facilities were damaged, and energy infrastructure was destroyed.
