Yuliia Anatoliivna Svyrydenko was born on December 25, 1985, in Chernihiv. While still a student, she was a permanent representative of Chernihiv in the city of Wuxi (China), where she was involved in attracting international investments. In 2008, she graduated with honors from the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics with a degree in "antimonopoly activity management." She began her career as an economist in financial work at a Ukrainian-Andorran joint venture, later worked as an appraiser at the Chernihiv Intercity Bureau of Technical Inventory, and in the administration of the then-head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Valerii Kulich. In 2018, she temporarily headed the Chernihiv Regional State Administration. She was a deputy, and later first deputy, minister of economy. At the end of 2020, she became deputy head of the Office of the President. In 2021, the Verkhovna Rada made a decision to appoint Svyrydenko to the position of Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economy. In 2025, she became the head of the Government.
