Due to the cessation of external power supply, 19 diesel generators were started at the station. After an hour and a half, the power supply to the ZNPP was restored.

The Zaporizhzhia NPP experienced another blackout due to the actions of the occupiers; external power supply to the ZNPP was restored within an hour and a half, reported NAC "Energoatom" on Tuesday, writes UNN.
ZNPP was in blackout for an hour and a half
NAC indicated that "on April 14, the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP stopped receiving external power from the Ukrainian energy grid to meet its own needs."
As a result of the invaders' inept actions in the temporarily occupied territory, the ZNPP experienced a blackout. 19 backup diesel generators automatically started at the station. External power supply to the ZNPP was restored within an hour and a half.
Energoatom emphasized: "The operation of Europe's largest nuclear facility under the control of Russian invaders systematically poses a threat to the entire European region. Since the beginning of the occupation, the station has already experienced 13 blackouts and has repeatedly found itself in conditions of critical external power limitation."
"Currently, the ZNPP receives electricity through the 330 kV "Ferroalloy-1" power transmission line. The main line – 750 kV "Dniprovska" – remains disconnected since March 24," NAC reported.
"The nuclear power plant must return under the control of Ukraine and its legitimate operator – Energoatom – as soon as possible. This is the only way to prevent the worst-case scenario for the entire European continent," Energoatom emphasized.
