The Netherlands to purchase over 150 million euros worth of F-16 ammunition for Ukraine

The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with 350 million euros of military aid, including 150 million euros for the purchase of air-to-ground munitions for F-16 fighters and more than 200 million euros for unmanned aerial vehicles to be transferred to Ukraine.

The Netherlands is allocating 350 million euros in military aid to Ukraine. This was reported on the website of the Dutch Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.

It is noted that part of this money, namely 150 million euros, will be used to purchase air-to-ground ammunition for F-16 fighters.

At the same time, the Netherlands is sending aircraft to Romania to be used in a training center for Ukrainian and Romanian pilots. This includes not only the F-16s themselves, but also all related spare parts and ammunition.

The Netherlands, along with Denmark and the United States, leads the Air Force coalition within the framework of Ramstein. 18 Dutch fighter jets were provided for training in Romania. The remaining 24 aircraft are intended for delivery to Ukraine. Some of them are currently being prepared in coordination with coalition partners

The Ministry of Defense also informed that the Netherlands is allocating more than 200 million euros for the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles.

It is planned to purchase a significant number of ISR (Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance) drones and transfer them to Ukraine, which will be done in coordination with partners and the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
