President Zelenskyy met with Dutch Defense Minister Ollongren, thanked the Netherlands for €2 billion in military aid in 2024 and F-16 fighter jets, and discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defense, artillery, armor, and drones.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Dutch Defense Minister Keesa Ollongren, who is on a visit to our country, UNN reports with reference to the Presidential Office.

The Head of State emphasized the importance of Keesa Ollongren's visit to Dnipro city, where the Dutch delegation had an opportunity to see the devastating consequences of Russian air terror with their own eyes.
"We are grateful to the Dutch government led by the Prime Minister, the Parliament and society for all the support and important decisions for Ukraine. We have signed a very powerful document in the field of security between the countries," Zelenskyy said.
The President emphasized the importance of fixing in the bilateral security agreement the provision of military assistance to Ukraine worth 2 billion euros in 2024, as well as a powerful military bloc.
The Head of State emphasized the leading role of the Netherlands in the functioning of the international aviation coalition and expressed gratitude to the Dutch government for the important decision to transfer F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
Zelenskyy informed in detail about the situation on the battlefield and the current needs of Ukrainian defenders. The interlocutors paid special attention to strengthening the Ukrainian air defense system, providing artillery, armored vehicles, and UAVs, in particular within the framework of joint projects.
The parties also discussed further realization of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
