The Security Service and the National Police have blocked eight more schemes to evade mobilization and detained the organizers of the deals in various regions of Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to a statement by the SBU.

It is noted that for sums ranging from 7,000 to 15,000 US dollars, the dealers offered conscripts a way to avoid the draft through forged documents or helped them flee abroad outside of official checkpoints.

  • In Kyiv, SBU cyber specialists exposed the deputy head of the service department of one of the capital's banks, who accepted bribes to "reserve" draft evaders at a critically important enterprise. The perpetrator was detained red-handed in a shopping center while receiving money from a client.
    • In Odesa, SBU military counterintelligence exposed an employee of the administrative department of a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) who groundlessly "struck off" draft evaders from the military register for health reasons. He also accepted money to help mobilized individuals avoid punishment for going AWOL (unauthorized leave from a military unit). To achieve this, he allegedly promised to influence high-ranking acquaintances in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and members of the military medical commission.
      • In the Mykolaiv region, two suspects were detained, one of whom is a foreigner with a permanent residence permit in Ukraine. According to the case files, they traded in foreign passports and driver's licenses, into which they pasted photos of draft evaders.
        • In the Cherkasy region, the organizer of an "evasion scheme" who already has a prior conviction for murder was detained. According to the case files, the recidivist was engaged in the fictitious employment of conscripts at critically important enterprises, followed by travel abroad under the guise of a business trip.
          • In the Poltava region, four bloggers received notices of suspicion for publishing the locations of checkpoints and patrol routes within the region in messenger chats. Additionally, it was documented how one of the suspects attacked law enforcement officers at a local TRC and forcibly pulled his mobilized acquaintance out of the restricted facility.
            • In the Sumy region, three administrators of Telegram channels and a Viber group were exposed for publishing the coordinates of mobile groups of the TRC and SS (Social Support) to help people avoid being served personal summonses.
              • In Vinnytsia, an employee of a local hospital was exposed for using her TikTok page to urge conscripts to "bypass" law enforcement patrols to avoid mobilization.
                • In Bukovyna, an official of a district TRC was detained for helping mobilized individuals arrange fictitious disabilities through connections among doctors.
