Russia launched 255 drones at Ukraine overnight, of which 195 were shot down or suppressed, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Friday, writes UNN.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of July 31 (from 18:00 on July 30), the enemy attacked with 255 Shahed-type strike UAVs (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody-type decoy drones from the directions: Oryol, Kursk – russia, TOT - Donetsk, Gvardiyske – TOT of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 195 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas UAVs and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 22 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, as well as debris falls at 4 locations
The attack is ongoing, enemy UAVs are in the airspace.
