"As a result of Russian shelling, some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions temporarily remain without electricity supply," the Ministry of Energy stated.
Power engineers are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all subscribers as quickly as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock, the ministry noted.
"Due to bad weather, consumers in Ivano-Frankivsk region remain without electricity supply," the Ministry of Energy reported.
Repair crews are working on restoration.
In Odesa region, the distribution system operator has temporarily applied network restrictions. The restrictions will be lifted immediately after the situation in the oblenergo network stabilizes. At the same time, the application of restrictions in other regions is not forecasted for today,
Electricity consumption has increased against the backdrop of cloudy weather and rain in the western regions of Ukraine, Ukrenergo reported.
"Active energy consumption today should be shifted to daytime hours - from 10:00 to 17:00. In the evening hours, we ask consumers, if possible, to use electricity sparingly - from 18:00 to 22:00. This helps reduce the load on the system," the Ministry of Energy indicated.
