The General Staff reported that 102 combat engagements took place on the frontline over the past day: the enemy launched missile and air strikes, used multiple launch rocket systems, and Ukrainian troops repelled attacks in various parts of the frontline.

Russian troops continued to advance in seven directions along the Ukrainian front line, with the fiercest fighting still taking place around Avdiivka.

Ukrainian troops regained several positions at the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions, capturing more than a dozen Russian soldiers.

More than 100 Ukrainians still live in the destroyed frontline town of Vuhledar. Interior Ministry units are distributing humanitarian aid to the townspeople and helping with evacuation.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched more than 1,600 attacks in the Donetsk region, using rockets, drones and artillery, damaging civilian objects and injuring civilians.

Over 90 enemy attacks were repelled at the frontline over the last day, and Russian-terrorist forces caused civilian casualties as a result of missile and air strikes.
