On April 12, 120 combat clashes took place on the front. The enemy launched 135 air strikes and more than 6,600 shellings, involving 2,709 kamikaze drones.

The defense forces are restraining the advance of the occupiers, repelling attacks every day. The hottest situation is in the Pokrovsk direction, where 14 combat clashes took place.

Border area with Russia remains a zone of tension with enemy DRGs and assault groups.

Russia is using small assault groups to create a "gray zone" in the Sumy region, but Ukrainian defenders are inflicting damage on them. The enemy tries to cross the border every day.

During the day, 149 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 40 assaults. The Russians launched 101 airstrikes and more than 6,400 shellings.

Throughout the day, 75 combat engagements took place on the front lines, with the highest number of attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy attempted to breach the defenses 26 times. Defense Forces are holding back the pressure.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine have advanced in the area of Chasov Yar. Russian occupiers also have advances near Toretsk and Pokrovsk, according to the ISW report.

In a week, the Russians stormed Sumy region 47 times, focusing on Zhuravka and Basivka. The enemy dropped 307 CABs, targeting bread factories and dairy plants.
