The General Staff reports 191 combat engagements along the frontline over the last day. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors, where the enemy launched 90 attacks.

The SBU CI detained three Russian agents who were collecting intelligence on the locations of the Defense Forces and Ukrzaliznytsia facilities. The detainees face 12 years to life in prison with confiscation of property.

On October 11, Russian troops shelled settlements in 4 districts of Donetsk region. As a result of the attacks, a 74-year-old woman was killed and 6 other people were injured of varying severity.

Russian shelling in Donetsk region resulted in 1 death and 4 injuries. Seventy-one civilian objects were damaged, including 37 residential buildings in different districts of the region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Syrsky announced that Russia had deployed 50,000 troops to the Kursk region. This has weakened Russian positions on other frontlines, making it easier for Ukraine to defend itself.
