In April, German language teachers from two Brovary lyceums will go on an internship in Jena. The twin cities have agreed to cooperate in education, culture, sports, and medicine.

A representative of the sister city of Jena visited Brovary to identify areas for further cooperation. The German city provides a variety of assistance to Brovary, including generators, medical equipment, and special vehicles.

In the Kyiv region, the activities of the “How are you?” program have been implemented. Psychosocial assistance services, support for veterans and IDPs have been established, mental health centers are operating, and specialists are being trained.

In Brovary district, a man attacked police officers with an ax during a call about domestic violence. A law enforcement officer shot and killed the attacker after firing a warning shot. Criminal proceedings have been initiated.

A new rehabilitation center for severely wounded soldiers has been opened in the Bila Tserkva community. The center is equipped with modern equipment and can accommodate 20 patients at a time.

Children's and youth sports in Ukraine are funded mainly from local budgets. In communities where the authorities understand the importance of sports education, sufficient funds are allocated for the development of children's sports.

In Brovary, two condominiums received compensation for purchasing independent energy sources. In total, this year 12 condominiums received UAH 526,820 in compensation under the program, which has been in effect since the fall of 2022.

The Brovary community implements energy efficiency and energy saving projects with the support of international organizations. Solar power plants have been installed in hospitals, generators have been purchased, and it is planned to equip a kindergarten with alternative energy sources.

The suspected mastermind and executor of the murder in the Brovary hotel were served with a notice of suspicion. They face life imprisonment for contract killing and illegal handling of weapons.
