A traditional prayer breakfast was held in Brovary with the participation of religious communities and local authorities. Plast members delivered the holy fire, and priests of various denominations addressed the audience with words of support.
On the eve of the celebration of Christmas, a traditional prayer breakfast was held in Brovary, bringing together representatives of religious communities, local authorities and residents of the city. This year's event had a special symbolism, as the Plast members delivered the Holy Fire to Brovary, a symbol of peace, love and hope, UNN reports.
"Today's traditional Prayer Breakfast was especially solemn, because on the eve of Christmas each of us prays for the only extremely important event - victory, peace and tranquility in our land," said Mayor Igor Sapozhko.
During the breakfast, priests of various denominations addressed the audience with words of guidance and support. Ihor Sapozhko expressed his gratitude to the holy fathers for their role in the spiritual unification of the community.
"I am grateful for the support and good word of guidance to our holy fathers, who, representing different religious communities, find incredibly right words, supporting and uniting everyone who needs faith and God's love," said the mayor of Brovary.
The Holy Fire brought by the Plast members became a symbol of unity and faith in Ukraine's victory. The participants of the event had the opportunity to light candles from the fire and share a common prayer for peace and harmony in the country.
The prayer breakfast in Brovary was a reminder of how important it is to maintain faith, unity and hope even in the most difficult times.
