In Brovary, Trebukhiv and Kniazhychi, the municipal utilities are actively fighting snow with 19 vehicles and 76 employees. The city has a stock of 3,000 tons of sand and salt mixture and 400 tons of salt to treat roads.
Utility workers in Brovary, Trebukhiv and Kniazhychi are actively working to clear roads and sidewalks of snow. According to Mayor Ihor Sapozhko, 19 units of equipment and 76 employees of the Brovary-Blagoustriy utility have been working since the night before, UNN reports.
"Today, 19 units of equipment have been working since the night before, 76 employees of the company have been involved, 96 tons of SAS have been used, and 14.75 tons of pure salt have been used. Municipal housing and communal services are also working in an enhanced mode," Igor Saplozhko reported.
According to him, more than one and a half hundred people are involved in snow removal, including janitors, comprehensive cleaning workers, and drivers of special equipment. Eight tractors are working to clear the adjacent territories.
According to the mayor, the central roads are well cleared, but there are comments about sidewalks, adjacent territories and entrances to educational institutions.
"We are controlling the situation and entering the winter working mode," emphasized Igor Sapozhko.

In total, according to the mayor of Brovary, more than 40 pieces of equipment were prepared for snow and ice this year . These include 14 combined road machines for snow removal and 11 tractor units for loading sand and salt mixture. Also, 3,000 tons of sand and salt mixture have been prepared and 400 tons of salt have been purchased for road and sidewalk treatment.
