Brovary community allocates over UAH 4.4 million to restore households affected by Russian shelling

Over the three years of war, the Brovary community has provided financial assistance to 52 households affected by Russian aggression. The largest payments were made in 2024 - UAH 2.8 million for 40 families.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, local residents of the Brovary territorial community affected by Russian aggression have received substantial support to restore damaged households. In total, over 4.4 million UAH have been allocated over almost three years to help affected families, UNN reports.
According to the Brovary City Council, 3 households received support in 2022. The total amount of payments to them amounted to UAH 1 million 196 thousand. UAH.
Last year, 9 households (5 in Brovary and 4 in Trebukhiv) received assistance to repair damage caused by Russian shelling in the amount of 432.7 thousand UAH.
This year, 40 families (9 in Brovary and 31 in Trebukhiv) received financial support from the local authorities, with a total amount of UAH 2 million 786.8 thousand.
"We understand how important it is to support our residents in rebuilding their homes that have been damaged by the war. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have been doing our best to help as many families as possible. This year's increase in aid is the result of our hard work. And we will continue to support the community in the future," said Igor Sapozhko in an exclusive commentary to UNN.
According to him, the assistance program is an important support tool for local communities and demonstrates effective cooperation between the authorities and the affected residents.
Ihor Sapozhko added that the Brovary community will continue to work to provide support to affected households and hopes that the amount of assistance will be increased in the coming years.
