Yaroslav Zheleznyak

People's Deputy of Ukraine
Yaroslav Ivanovych Zheleznyak was born on October 20, 1989, in Mariupol, Donetsk region. In 2009, he studied at the Institute of Law of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and in 2013, he earned a master's degree in international business from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He began his career in public administration in the Verkhovna Rada of the VI convocation as an assistant-consultant to a People's Deputy from the Party of Regions, and during 2010–2014, he worked as a senior government affairs advisor at a consulting company, and later as a government affairs advisor at the international brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev. In 2015, he became an advisor to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Aivaras Abromavičius, and from 2016, a member of the Strategic Advisory Group for Support of Reforms in Ukraine (SAGSUR). In 2017–2019, he was an advisor to Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on parliamentary relations. In 2019, he was elected a People's Deputy from the "Holos" party and became a member of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy.
