Kyiv • UNN
Energoatom denies the statement by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak that its employees earn more than UAH 700,000 per month, claiming that this information is not true and that UAH 18.2 million in compensation was paid under a court decision that is being appealed, not as an employee's salary.
Energoatom said that the information of MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak about the "sky-high" salaries of its employees, namely more than 700 thousand UAH per month, is not true. UNN reports with reference to Energoatom.
In connection with the dissemination of information in the media by the People's Deputy of Ukraine Y. Zheleznyak about the "sky-high" salaries of employees of Energoatom JSC, namely more than UAH 700 thousand per month, we would like to inform you that the information he has published is not true.
Details
Energoatom states that due to the published abbreviated court decision on reinstatement of an employee of NNEGC Energoatom who was dismissed in February 2022, the MP made false conclusions that the compensation in the amount of UAH 18.2 million was due to the employee's salary.
We would like to inform you that Energoatom will appeal this court decision after its full text is available, which is currently unavailable, making it impossible to establish the motives of the court. At the same time, it is clear that the amount recovered by the court was determined in disregard of the statutory procedure for calculating the average salary and in no way reflects the real level of salaries of NNEGC employees.
It is also reported that the level of wages of Energoatom employees corresponds to the average wage rates in the industry.
At the same time, we urge the journalistic community to use only verified information from official sources and not to spread false information.
Context
MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said in Telegram that Energoatom has a "creative" position of "head of the service to support the work of the management of the Executive Directorate for Human Resources".
The MP noted that allegedly in , the average monthly salary of such an Energoatom employee is UAH 726.4 thousand.
He suggested that the position with such a name was allegedly created specifically for a "permanent employee" who has been working at Energoatom since 2013 and whom the court reinstated in early March.
He will now be compensated for the entire period of his dismissal, starting in February 2022. That is, Energoatom will compensate him for almost UAH 18.2 million.
