Zelenskyy, at a meeting with the "Servants," named the conditions for ending the hot phase of the war by November

Zelenskyy discussed ending the hot phase of the war by November, provided there are security guarantees. The priorities are supporting the army and meeting IMF requirements.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the "Servant of the People" faction, during which they discussed the war, challenges for the economy, and the state's main task for the coming period. The next 6 months should be a time of maximum concentration and stabilization of the country's operations. This was reported by UNN with reference to the head of the "Servant of the People" parliamentary faction David Arakhamia and faction member Olha Vasylevska-Smagliuk.
Today, an important meeting of the faction with the President of Ukraine took place
According to him, the meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, First Vice-Speaker Oleksandr Kornienko, Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Budanov, and Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
We spoke frankly - about the war, challenges for the economy, and the state's main task for the coming period. Everyone understands: the next 6 months must be a time of maximum concentration and stabilization of the country's work. Our priority is to ensure the stability of state institutions, support for the army, timely payments to people, and the functioning of the energy sector, economy, and local self-government. We must also continue to take steps that bring us closer to joining the European Union
He noted that the diplomatic direction was discussed separately.
Ukraine needs real movement toward peace - not a freezing of the war, but the creation of conditions for saving lives, strengthening international support, and pressure on the aggressor country. This requires a strong position of the state, unity within the country, and responsible work from all branches of government. Today is not the time for internal conflicts or political shows. It is a time for decisions that will help Ukraine endure, strengthen the state, and bring a just peace closer
MP Vasylevska-Smagliuk said that the lion's share of the meeting was devoted to the prospect of ending the hot phase of the war.
The President noted that by November, the possibility of ending the hot phase is being considered, provided that security guarantees are granted. Currently, we have an advantage on the front that can be utilized. The main goal is to prevent the Russian Federation from being able to deceive us and start new combat operations, a new offensive, after a short break. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that it is expected from Europe to see who will now be the moderator of the peace track from their side, and also that we expect a delegation from the US in the near future
According to her, they also talked a lot about the prospects of EU membership.
The President said that we, the People's Deputies, have fulfilled absolutely all requirements for opening all negotiation clusters, and they should be opened by summer. Regarding the issue of associate membership without voting rights and without trade and economic prospects, such membership will not give Ukrainians a sense of justice. Regarding voting in the VR, there is an agreement before the IMF mission to demonstrate unity around bills on procurement and parcels (what is embedded in the Customs Code), and then we will see. There are still no votes for the bill on SEPA because no one has conveyed the value of this law to the President, unfortunately. I will work on this. Personnel issues were not discussed. It is worth noting once again that the President very patiently listened to the deputies' questions regarding dissatisfaction with the heads of Regional Military Administrations, mayors, IDP problems, etc., which in general are not his priorities right now, during the war
As a reminder
On May 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the mono-majority faction in the Ukrainian parliament. They discussed key issues currently on the parliament's agenda.
