Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with a U.S. Congressional delegation in Kyiv to discuss urgent needs for military assistance, the dynamics of the fighting, and Ukraine's progress in liberating the occupied territories from russia.
Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with a bipartisan delegation of the U.S. Congress, whose members recently arrived in Kyiv. The head of the Defense Ministry said this on his Facebook page, UNN reports.

I had the opportunity to discuss this with members of the House of Representatives Thomas Kane, Nathaniel Morano, William Keating and Madelyn Dean. During the meeting, they assessed the dynamics at the front and the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
According to him, the aid package supported by the House of Representatives is vital to protecting Ukrainians from Russian air strikes and improving the situation on the battlefield.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine reminded our American partners of the enormous progress we have made, having liberated about 50% of the territory occupied by Russia.
