The U.S. Senate has put forward a large-scale package of bills for a final vote that would allocate billions of dollars in foreign aid to several countries, including Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.
The package of bills was adopted by an overwhelming majority of 79 votes in favor to 18 against.
The package includes $61 billion for Ukraine, $26 billion for Israel, and humanitarian aid for civilians in conflict zones around the world. It also includes $8.12 billion to counter China in the Indo-Pacific region.
