Ukrainian military marched in the Bastille Day parade in Paris

Ukrainian troops took part in the Bastille Day parade on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, reports UNN.

A group of Ukrainian soldiers, as The Guardian notes, marched during the annual Bastille Day military parade on the Champs-Élysées in the French capital.

Also, troops of the "coalition of the willing" marched along the Champs-Élysées.

As indicated, the flags of Albania and Australia were at the front, and Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, and others were also visible.

A group of Ukrainian soldiers, it is reported, marched at the end, saluting the leaders and receiving very warm applause.

Also noticeable at the parade was the multinational NATO battalion stationed in Estonia, including the 3rd Marine Infantry Regiment of France and others.

Before this, the Patrouille de France aerobatic team flew over the Champs-Élysées, releasing multicolored puffs of smoke forming the French flag. They were accompanied by two Mirage 2000 aircraft piloted by French pilots, but with Ukrainian pilots undergoing training in the French Air Force as co-pilots, the publication notes.

They were followed by aircraft from French and other allied forces, including a huge AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) radar plane.

French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and other leaders watched from the stands.

More than 300 vehicles and 6,500 soldiers were to march along the iconic Champs-Élysées in central Paris this morning as part of the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris, intended to "send a strategic signal" about the military awakening of France and Europe.
