President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that on the night of June 14, SBU warriors struck an oil facility in the Yaroslavl region of Russia, more than 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The head of state reported this on Telegram, UNN reports.

Details

More than 700 kilometers from our state border – in the Yaroslavl region of Russia, SBU warriors struck an oil facility.

Warriors of our army reached targets in the Tula region of Russia – at the "Azot" enterprise, whose activities determine the capabilities for explosive production.

Air traffic restrictions were applied at six Russian airports, and in total, since yesterday evening, an air raid alert was declared in 28 regions of Russia."

Meanwhile, the SBU confirmed that warriors of the SBU Special Operations Center "A" struck the "Temp" Rosrezerv oil depot in the city of Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region, RF. The distance to the target from the state border of Ukraine is over 700 kilometers.

As noted, the "Temp" oil depot is part of the state material reserve system of the RF and is used for storing gasoline, diesel fuel, and other fuel and lubricants. From there, petroleum products are supplied to the northeastern regions of the RF, and strategic fuel reserves are maintained for the needs of the Russian army.

After the SBU drone strikes, a large-scale fire broke out at the facility. At least three ignition points were recorded in the tank farm, which consists of more than 60 fuel storage containers.

The SBU emphasizes that Russian petroleum product warehouses, refineries, and logistics infrastructure are legitimate targets, as they provide resources to the RF army and contribute to the continuation of the war against Ukraine.

According to OSINT analysts, the strikes on the facility could have been carried out by FP-1 drones manufactured by Fire Point.
