President of the European Council António Costa stated that the Kremlin's actions pose "a threat to the security of all of Europe." According to him, the incident of violating Poland's airspace proves that Russia's aggression extends far beyond Ukraine.
The President of the European Council emphasized that the European Union is fully united with Ukraine and Poland, whose authorities "work tirelessly to protect their citizens." He assured that the EU will continue to strengthen support for Ukraine, particularly in reinforcing air defense systems, anti-missile, and anti-drone protection.

French President Emmanuel Macron also "strongly condemned" the Russian strikes on Ukraine and the violation of Poland's airspace. In his statement, the French leader also promised continued support to allies.

An F-16 fighter jet was scrambled for reconnaissance and interception of the object. At 3:46 a.m. local time, the object disappeared, and the likely location of its fall was near the town of Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship.
