Generation, transmission, consumption
Yesterday, Ukraine additionally attracted emergency assistance from Slovakia and Poland during evening peak hours. The Ukrainian power system also received excess electricity from the Polish power system.
As of today, it is planned that hourly outage schedules will be applied only during peak consumption hours - from 17:00 to 23:00. The restrictions will apply to one queue.
Consequences of the shelling
According to the Ministry of Energy, the enemy fired three times at energy facilities in Chernihiv region over the past day, which resulted in the de-energization of substations and overhead lines, as well as household consumers connected to them. A total of 2,946 consumers were cut off from power.
In the Dnipropetrovs'k region, a UAV attack damaged equipment at a substation in the territory of one of the city's power plants.
Emergencies
A fire broke out in Donetsk region as a result of enemy shelling of a mine. According to the agency, 86 workers were in the mine at the time of the accident. 84 people were brought to the surface. The Ministry of Energy said that 2 workers remained in the mine, involved in the life support of the enterprise. The fire was extinguished.
