RF is preparing to mobilize 100,000 people and five scenarios for expanding the war - Zelenskyy

The Russian Federation is preparing new mobilization steps – up to 100,000 people. Meanwhile, Ukraine is preparing to expand the geography of our long-range sanctions. This was reported by the President of Ukraine after a meeting of the Staff, UNN reports.

Regarding Russian directions: We are preparing to expand the geography of our long-range sanctions, which have already proven themselves very well, and a more tangible coercion of Russia to reduce aggression. We have also taken note of information regarding the preparation of new mobilization steps in Russia – an additional 100,000 people. We believe that as of today, such potential for covert mobilization in Russia is absent; therefore, we should expect Russian political decisions of a different format, specifically like the recent ones regarding the Transnistrian region of Moldova 

According to the President, Ukraine will definitely defend itself, and "now our task is to strengthen our state so that none of the five Russian scenarios for expanding the war through the north of Ukraine will work."
