Russia launched two ballistic missiles and 132 drones at Ukraine overnight, 114 of which were shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of June 16 (from 18:00 on June 15), the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, as well as 132 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody" type decoy drones from the directions of: Shatalovo, Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF.
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 114 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, and drones of other types in the north, south, and east of the country. Missile hits and 16 strike UAVs were recorded at 9 locations, as well as the falling of downed drones (debris) at 8 locations
The attack is ongoing; enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
