Putin was lied to about the "front falling in Ukraine in 2-3 months": who deceived the dictator
Kyiv • UNN
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not accept Donald Trump's ultimatum to end the war, as his entourage is interested in continuing the aggression. At the same time, the Center for Countering Disinformation believes that the dictator was again "deceived" by people from his own entourage, who told him about "Ukraine falling in 2-3 months."

The Center for Countering Disinformation reacted to a Reuters publication stating that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not take seriously US President Donald Trump's ultimatum to end the war against Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to Reuters and the head of the CCD Andriy Kovalenko.
Details
As stated in the publication, the Russian dictator is unlikely to comply with US President Donald Trump's sanctions ultimatum, which expires this Friday. The Kremlin has not abandoned its goal of fully occupying the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
With Russian troops advancing on the battlefield and Ukraine under heavy military pressure, Putin does not believe it is time to end the war. Moreover, Putin's entourage tells the dictator that "the front in Ukraine will collapse in 2-3 months."
The authors of the publication note: neither the Russian people nor the Russian army will understand their dictator if he stops now. After all, in Russian society, which has long been processed by propaganda and incited Russians to war with Ukrainians, there is hatred for the neighboring country and its people.
The publication also notes that Ukrainian and Western military sources admit that Russia is gaining victories, but only gradually and with heavy losses. This is influenced by both the terrain and the buildings that the Russians are storming with heavy losses.
CCD Reaction
As the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andriy Kovalenko noted, the Russian dictator was "deceived once again" by people from his own entourage, who told him that "the front in Ukraine will not hold and will collapse in 2-3 months."
He added: three people in Putin's entourage voice these theses to him. These are Putin's assistant, former Security Council secretary and former FSB head Nikolai Patrushev, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko, and Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Patrushev benefits from burying Putin even deeper in the war to try to make his son his successor, not to mention other perks and kickbacks. Kiriyenko from Putin's administration also sits on the flows and cycles the regional vertical of power through the war. And Gerasimov simply knows nothing else but war. And Putin is a lover of simple solutions who still believes paper reports
