The General Staff reports active fighting in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions. The enemy is launching airstrikes on Sumy Oblast and conducting assaults in the south.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 53 times. The enemy is actively operating in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions. In addition, futile assaults continue to be recorded in the direction of the Antonivka bridge, UNN reports with reference to the General Staff's summary.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Novoivanivka, Bachivsk, Iskriskivshchyna, Ryzhivka, and Budky were affected. Air strikes were carried out on the settlement of Novoivanivka.
In the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, one combat engagement took place in the direction of the settlement of Taratutyne. In addition, the enemy launched one air strike, dropped four guided bombs, and carried out 34 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, three of which were with the use of multiple rocket launcher systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy twice stormed the positions of our units in the areas of the settlements of Zybine and Vovchansk. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy twice tried to improve its position in the direction of the settlements of Novoplatonivka and Novoosinove. Currently, one battle is ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, since the beginning of the day, there have been five enemy assaults near Kolodiazy, Dibrova, and Lyman. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out one attack on the positions of the Defense Forces in the Rai-Oleksandrivka area.
In the area of the settlement of Tykhonivka, our defenders repelled one attack in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, one combat engagement is ongoing. Eleven attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyniv Yar, and Sofiivka were successfully stopped by our defenders.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 16 times to dislodge our soldiers from their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Myrnograd, Udachne, Zapovidne, Bilytske, Hryshyne, and Muravka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, five combat engagements with the enemy took place in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrograf, Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Vorone, and Novohryhorivka. Air strikes were carried out on the outskirts of the settlements of Omelnyk, Yasna Poliana, and Zarichne.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zaliznychne, Hirke, and Huliaipole. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvyzhivska, Novomykolaivka, Yehorivka, Charivne, Dolynka, and Kopani.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy carried out one attack in the Stepnohirsk area, and launched air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Yasna Poliana, Zarichne, and Omelnyk.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out three futile assault actions in the direction of the Antonivka bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
In other directions, no significant changes in the situation are currently taking place. No attempts by the enemy to advance have been recorded, the General Staff summarized.
