"In Zaporizhzhia, a rescue operation is ongoing at the sites of Russian aerial bomb strikes. Unfortunately, as of now, two people are known dead. My condolences to their families and loved ones. There are wounded. The Russians attacked an ordinary apartment building. Apartments from the first to the seventh floor are on fire. All services are working on site – rescuers and medics are involved – doing everything to help people," Zelenskyy wrote on social media.
The President noted that "today there were also strikes on Kherson with KABs [guided aerial bombs] and drones of various types, including FPV drones." "Two people were wounded, and, unfortunately, there is one deceased person. My condolences to the family," he said.
"There were strikes on Odesa and the region. The Russians launched a missile strike on an ordinary park. They also attacked the city with jet-powered drones. They damaged a four-story residential building and cars. Two people were wounded. In the region, three ordinary residential houses were damaged," Zelenskyy continued.
"It is important that partners continue to support Ukraine. The adoption of the 21st sanctions package by the European Union is necessary, as is support for our defense. And it is very important that requests for weapons from the corps, for means of countering the Russians – everything we discussed with the military and officials – be delivered by manufacturers more quickly. Everything that helps protect lives must be implemented as soon as possible," the Head of State emphasized.
