On August 2, Ukrainian Olympians will compete in 7 disciplines at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine reported, UNN writes.

"Today, on August 2, on the seventh day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine will compete in 7 sports," the NOC said.
The schedule of performances is based on Kyiv time:
Trap shooting (25 m pistol)
10:00 - Women, qualification, accuracy, Olena Kostevych
13:00 - women, qualification, speed, Olena Kostevych
Judo (weight category 78 kg+), medals will be awarded
11:00 - women, 1/16 finals: Christina Homan
Athletics
11:10 - men's qualification, hammer throw: Michael Kohan
11:15 - Women's high jump qualification: Yaroslava Maguchikh, Iryna Gerashchenko, Yulia Levchenko
19:15 - Women's triple jump qualification: Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk

Results of the competition day on August 1
On the sixth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Парижі, representatives of the Ukrainian national team competed in 6 sports. Sergiy Kulish added one silver medal to Ukraine's medal tally.
Smallbore shooting (50 m smallbore rifle, three-position shooting)

Athletics (20 km race walk)
Three Ukrainian women finished in the top 20. Lyudmyla Olyanovska was the best, finishing 14th (1:29.55). Maria Sakharuk was 17th (1:30.12), and Olena Sobchuk was 20th (1:31.12).
Our only representative in this discipline among men, Ihor Hlavan, took 40th place (1:24.52)

Veronika Marchenko defeated Li Tsai-Chi from Chinese Taipei in the 1/32 finals 6-4, but lost in the 1/16 to Alejandra Valencia from Mexico 4-6, ending her participation in the Olympics.
Judo (weight category up to 78 kg)
Yelyzaveta Lytvynenko defeated Loriana Kuku of Kosovo in the opening bout, but lost by shido in the 1/4 finals to the current world vice-champion Alice Bellanda of Italy. She was prevented from continuing her fight for bronze in the consolation bracket by China's Ma Zhenzhao. As a result, the Ukrainian took seventh place.
Swimming
The current world champion in the 50-meter freestyle, Vladislav Bukhov, qualified for the semifinals in 11th place (21.89 seconds).
In the semifinals, the Ukrainian improved his time to 21.76 seconds, but took 11th place, which did not allow him to advance to the final.
Tennis
For the semifinals, sisters Liudmyla and Nadiya Kichenok competed with a pair from Spain, Cristina Buxa and Sara Sorribes Tormo. As a result, the girls lost in a tiebreaker - 3:6, 6:2, 10:12 - and ended their performances at the Games.
